Get to Know What Fruit Tracker Can Do For You

With harvest done and the snow starting to fly, now is the chance to take another (or first) look at FruitTracker.com to see how it can help you keep better records. This system provides growers with an innovative, extensive management tool for record keeping and analysis of production events, including tree/block information, food safety and traceability, pest management, crop protection, as well as harvest, storage and shipping event tracking. Now that's being organized!

There have been many changes and updates to the system since it first began operation a few years ago. If you haven't looked at Fruit Tracker recently, you will be pleased with how efficient it has become. Like any other program, it takes a little time to get used to, but once you do, it is simple to use. If you need to make corrections, there are lots of opportunities to edit. Have questions about the system? Not sure where to start? There are a series of YouTube videos available that will walk you through the program and give a great visual on the capabilities.

The system is free for all Ontario Apple Grower (OAG) members and each member has their own personal login. Don't have your login information? Email Matt Deir at matthew.deir@dragonflyit.ca. Dragonfly IT staff will also have a booth at the Ontario Fruit & Vegetable Convention in Niagara Falls, ON on February 22-23, 2017. Stop by to chat with them or if you have any questions.
